Automatic Shut-Off Valve: A Hydraulically actuated two sided diaphragm valve requiring no electricity senses a maximum peak pressure inside the storage tank accumulator when full of processed water, and stops the feed water supply to the membrane filter from continuing to flow when water is not being drawn from the tank, thus eliminating unnecessary waste of water to the drain. Once water is drawn from the tank, the drop in pressure allows the feed water to push through the membrane to replenish the used amount of water.
“Double” Membrane Check Valve: ¼” Polypropylene, and 1/8” MIP x FIP Stainless Steel Check Valves provide double the protection against water pressure inside the storage tank from reverse flowing back into the Membrane causing premature membrane failure.
“Molded” Membrane Flow Control: An encapsulated Sediment Screen reduces the risk of Membrane failure by preventing debris from plugging the drain capillary tube, which if plugged causes damage to the Membrane filter from insufficient or no drain water rinse.
“Removable Bladder” 2.5 gal. Storage Tank with 3/8” Water Supply: The Pressurized Plastic Storage Accumulator uses a high density Butyl Bladder to store up to 2.5 gallons of processed water from the pre-filters and membrane filter, pushing the processed water through the final post-filter when water is dispensed. The Bladder is easily removed for periodic cleaning of Bio-film buildup, insuring consistent purity. The upgraded 3/8” Tank Ball Valve and Tubing provides higher flow rates when dispensing water.
“Ceramic Disc” Air-Gap Faucet with 3/8” Water Supply: This faucet prevents the drain water of the Membrane filter from reverse flowing back into the Membrane in the event the drain water cannot be pushed into the drain system due to a pressure restriction, which could cause possible contamination to the filters. The Ceramic Disc cartridge offers ¼ turn ease of operation and extended durability and performance during the life of the faucet. The upgraded 3/8” supply Tubing provides higher flow rates when dispensing.
High Pressure Compression Fittings: Rated up to 300 psi, utilizing heavy wall Nylon with a 3-piece Nut, Flange, and O-ring provides unequalled reliability and performance in preventing leaks when connecting all supply line tubing to the Reverse Osmosis unit.
Inlet Water Supply Hardware: Solid Brass, Full Port 1/8” MIP x 1/4” Compression ¼ turn Ball Valve, attached to a Brass 1/2” MIP x 1/2” FIP cold water Angle Stop adapter, providing maximum inlet feed water flow and pressure to the Reverse Osmosis system.
Construction Materials: Stainless Steel including: Mounting Bracket, Membrane Check Valve, Screws, Nuts and Bolts. Corrosion-Proof Plastic including: Filter Housings, Membrane Vessel Housing, Mounting Clamps, Storage Tank, Storage Tank ¼ turn Ball Valve, Shut-Off Valve, Membrane Flow Control, and Tubing. Nylon Compression Fittings. Chrome Plated Brass Air-Gap Faucet.

- Pre-Filter 1
This 5 micron 4 5/8” x 20” filter uses Graded Density Core, Micro-Fiber technology to remove Dirt, Rocks, Sand, Sticks, Bugs, Sediment, and other medium to smaller debris from untreated water. This filter is manufactured by thermally fusing thousands of small micro fibers together. The Graded Density Core filter material becomes extremely dense in material weight from the outer perimeter to the center core providing Graduated Depth filtration and allowing more retention of Silt and Clay to be trapped in the inner core, extending the length between service intervals and cartridge replacement. Cysts, Bacteria, and Super Fine Silt, Clay, and Debris WILL NOT be removed by this filter and will be passed on to the Membrane Filter if used in a Reverse Osmosis System, which would eventually result in premature Membrane failure. This filter would normally be used as a pre-filter for a single family home or small building, single dispensing faucets in a Bathroom, Kitchen Sink, or an Island Sink to prevent faucet screens from plugging, or, combined with other Pre-filters in a Multi-stage Reverse Osmosis system when used on Well Water, or, as a stand alone filter. This filter can be used successfully in a Multi-Stage Reverse Osmosis System as a Primary Pre-filter providing a 1 micron or lower micron Filter is used as the Secondary Pre-filter to trap the Silt, Clay, Bacteria, and Super Fine Sediments before entering the Membrane Filter.
Recommended Service Interval on Most Water Supplies: 3-6 Months

- Pre-Filter 2
This 1 micron 4 5/8” x 20” filter uses Graded Density Core, Micro-Fiber technology to remove Dirt, Iron, Sand, Silt, Clay, and Bacteria from untreated water. This filter provides an extremely High Density Volume Weight of filter material by thermally fusing thousands of small micro fibers together. The Graded Density Core filter material becomes extremely dense in material weight from the outer perimeter to the center core providing Graduated Depth filtration and allowing more retention of Silt and Clay to be trapped in the inner core, extending the length between service intervals and cartridge replacement. Cysts, Bacteria, super fine Silt and Clay in the 1 micron size will also be removed by this filter. This filter would normally be used as a pre-filter in a 3-stage Reverse Osmosis system using an Osmosis Membrane filter, or as a pre-filter for a single family home or small building, single dispensing faucets in a Bathroom, Kitchen Sink, or an Island Sink to prevent faucet screens from plugging, or combined with other Pre-filters in a Multi-Stage Reverse Osmosis system, or as a stand alone filter. This filter will remove fine particles from your water supply down to the 1 micron size when compared to other Sediment filters sold at the consumer level that have a “NOMINAL” micron rating between 5 and 50 microns, that allow more dirt to pass through the larger micron rated filters which fouls and eventually plugs the Membrane Filter. Other Sediment filters cannot retain as much dirt as the 1 micron filter because they do not have as much filter material volume weight do to the inefficiency of their cartridge design. The 1 micron filter offers the best protection against Pre-mature fouling of a Membrane filter from Silt, Clay, and other Fine Sediments.
Recommended Service Interval on Most Water Supplies: 3-6 Months

Stage 2 - CSED1MMF46520 - (Pre-Filter)
|
- Pre-Filter 3
This 10 micron 4 5/8” x 20” filter uses Extruded Carbon Block Technology to reduce or remove Chlorine, and other Hydro-Carbon Gases from untreated water. Small granules of Bituminous Carbon are Crushed and bonded together with a proprietary Extrusion molding process to form a long, solid BLOCK of Carbon that is cut to specific lengths. Bituminous Carbon is mined from the Earth and does not possess the smaller cell site structure of Coconut Shell Carbon, so Bituminous Carbon IS NOT capable of reducing or removing VOC’s (Volatile Organic Chemicals), Ammonia, Chloramines, or other priority level Hydro-Carbon Gas contaminants that the 1/2 micron Carbon Block filter is capable of reducing or removing. And, the 10 micron rating results in less filter material volume weight per square inch which does not allow for removal of Silt, Clay, fine Sediments, Cysts or Bacteria that the 1/2 micron Carbon Block is capable of reducing or removing. The solid Carbon Block design provides 2 to 3 times more volume weight of filter material compared to other Granular Carbon and Fiber type filters by greatly reducing the porosity of the loose granules of Carbon. This filter would normally be used as a Pre-filter to reduce or remove Chlorine from the incoming water of a very small home or smaller building, or when combined with other pre-filters in a Multi-stage Reverse Osmosis system, or as a stand alone filter at a single dispensing faucet, requiring frequent service intervals and cartridge replacement.
Recommended Service Interval on Most Water Supplies: 3-6 Months

- Membrane
This .001 micron 2.5” x 40” Membrane filter produces up to 1000 gpd of high purity water, and uses a Thin Film Composite Cellular Skin to separate and remove Dissolved Solids, Salts, Minerals, Heavy Metals, Organic Matter, Pyroxene’s, Sub-micron Colloidal matter, Cysts, Bacteria, and other contaminants from untreated water. Water containing Dissolved Minerals and other Contaminants is forced under high pressure through a Semi-Permeable, Spiral Wound, Thin Film Composite Cellular Skin layered in several wrappings, to separate and rinse away the dissolved solids to a sewage drain, leaving only the Pure, H20 water molecules for consumption, production, processing, or manufacturing. The TFC Membrane skin has a broader PH tolerance than the CTA Membrane skin, it can remove a higher maximum threshold of dissolved solids, and removes a higher percentage of dissolved solids than the CTA Membrane is capable of removing. The TFC Membrane can be used on Municipal or Well Water with proper pre-filtration due the natural Bacteriostatic properties. Typical Rejection of minerals and impurities for the TFC Membrane is 95%-99% removal, compared to 70%-80% for the CTA Membrane. TFC Membranes are used in Sea Water Desalination Plants, Vending machines, Bottled Water Processing Plants, Car Washes, Window Washing Equipment, Dental Offices, Electronic Manufacturing Plants, Power Manufacturing Plants, and many other applications across the world. This is the best Membrane choice available for producing the highest purity water from a Residential Reverse Osmosis System.
