1.) Clean Water Membrane Rinse: Pure water is rinsed across the Membrane or Membranes after each system shutdown to prevent mineral residue from remaining inside the elements and causing possible fouling.

2.) Atmospheric Storage Tanks, Pressurized Storage Tanks, and Pressure Pumps in any capacity, size, or configuration.

Optional Features

20001

Multiple Membrane Configuration: Up to (10) 4” x 40” Stainless Steel Membrane Vessel Housings encapsulating 4” x 40” HIGH REJECTION TFC Reverse Osmosis Membrane Filters can be configured to produce up to 20,000 gallons of process water daily. Typical mineral removal is greater than 99%, with a typical concentrate recovery ratio of 1:1 (50%) on most municipal water supplies.

Stainless Steel Multi-Stage Centrifugal Booster Pump: Increases incoming feed water pressure to 200 psi if needed for maximum Membrane performance. The Stainless Steel Pump Head resists rust and corrosion when used with varying water conditions.

Stainless Steel Concentrate Needle Valve: Regulates the ratio of concentrated minerals rinsed to the drain during Membrane production, and adjusts the Booster Pump operating pressure. The Stainless Steel Valve Body and Stem resists rust and corrosion preventing premature deterioration and failure of the needle stem to maintain a consistent calibration of the drain water flow.

Automatic Membrane Flush: The Membrane elements are rinsed daily or upon each tank filling with the full velocity of the incoming feed water for a 10 minute interval, by-passing the concentrate valve to reduce pre-mature scaling or bio-film on the Membrane pores.

Concentrate Recycle Valve: Re-circulates a percentage of the concentrate drain water back into the incoming feed water of the system which lowers the ratio of water passed to the drain. Applicable on compatible water supplies.

Pre-Treatment Lockout: Prevents the system from operating when any Self-cleaning Backwash Filter or Water Softener being used as pre-treatment for the system starts a regeneration, preventing Hard or Dirty water bleed through to the Membrane(s) from occurring.

Electronic Display Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) Meter: Displays the amount of any mineral residual remaining in the high purity water after permeating through the Membrane filter or filter elements. Typical unit of measure display is in ppm (parts per million)

“Patented” Membrane Anti-Scalant: Proprietary chemical feed preserves and extends the life of the membrane element or elements by reducing the formation of Calcium and Magnesium carbonates on the pores of the Membrane skin.

Low and High Water Pressure Cut-off Switch: Prevents the system from operating if inlet feed water source is turned off, disconnected, or temporarily interrupted, and when the pressurized storage tank is full of the high purity de-mineralized water.

High Tank level Cut-off Switch: Prevents the system from operating when the atmospheric storage tank is full of the high purity de-mineralized water.
Electronic Display Flow Meters For Permeate, Concentrate And Recycle: Allows accurate monitoring of membrane production to determine when it is time to clean or replace the membrane elements, and adjustment for the concentrate and re-circulated drain streams.

Electronic Display Pressure Gauges: Allows accurate monitoring of the incoming feed water pressure to the pre-filters, also monitors the Booster Pump operating pressure and Membrane incoming feed water operating pressure, and monitors the Membranes outlet operating pressure to determine when cleaning or replacement is necessary of the pre-filters or membrane element or elements.

Aluminum Mounting Frame: Supports the Membranes, Pump, Valves, Filters, Gauges, and Instrumentation. Manufactured from Aluminum bar stock for structural integrity and powder coated to resist rust and corrosion.

High Pressure Compression Fittings: Rated up to 300 psi, utilizing heavy wall Nylon with a 3-piece Nut, Flange, and O-ring.

This .001 micron 4” x 40” Membrane filter produces up to 2500 gpd of high purity water, and uses a Thin Film Composite Cellular Skin to separate and remove Dissolved Solids, Salts, Minerals, Heavy Metals, Organic Matter, Pyroxene’s, Sub-micron Colloidal matter, Cysts, Bacteria, and other contaminants from untreated water. Water containing Dissolved Minerals and other Contaminants is forced under high pressure through a Semi-Permeable, Spiral Wound, Thin Film Composite Cellular Skin layered in several wrappings, to separate and rinse away the dissolved solids to a sewage drain, leaving only the Pure, H20 water molecules for consumption, production, processing, or manufacturing. The TFC Membrane skin has a broader PH tolerance than the CTA Membrane skin, it can remove a higher maximum threshold of dissolved solids, and removes a higher percentage of dissolved solids than the CTA Membrane is capable of removing. The TFC Membrane can be used on Municipal or Well Water with proper pre-filtration due the natural Bacteriostatic properties. Typical Rejection of minerals and impurities for the TFC Membrane is 95%-99% removal, compared to 70%-80% for the CTA Membrane. TFC Membranes are used in Sea Water Desalination Plants, Vending machines, Bottled Water Processing Plants, Car Washes, Window Washing Equipment, Dental Offices, Electronic Manufacturing Plants, Power Manufacturing Plants, and many other applications across the world. This is the best Membrane choice available for producing the highest purity water from a Residential Reverse Osmosis System.
