- Carbon Pre-Filter for EcoWater Part # 7109902, 7148964
The CF10MCBEC 10 micron filter uses Extruded Carbon Block Technology to reduce or remove Chlorine, Hydro-Carbon Gases, Sediments and other debris from untreated water. Small granules of Bituminous Carbon are crushed and molded into long solid Blocks of Carbon and then cut to specific lengths. Ammonia, Chloramines, VOC’s, Sediment, Silt, Clay, and Bacteria pass through this filter because of the Carbon used and larger micron rating. This filter provides reasonable protection against Chlorine and Hydro-Carbon Gas contaminants, and is better suited for Bath, Kitchen, Bar, or Island Sink Faucets and Shower Heads, as a Pre-Filter for a multistage Reverse Osmosis system, or as a Pre-filter for Tubs, Tanks, Pitchers, etc.
Recommended Service Interval on Most Water Supplies: 3 years
CF10MCBEC - Substitute Carbon Pre-Filter for EcoWater Part # 7109902, 7148964 (Must Use With MEM12TFCCE392 Membrane)

- Membrane Filter for Ecowater Part # 7109897, 7165792, 7165788
MEM12TFCEC392 - Substitute Membrane Filter for Ecowater Part # 7109897, 7165792, 7165788 (Must Use With CF10MCBEC Carbon Block Filter) > 18-150 gpd Membranes available
The MEM12TFCEC392 .001 micron Membrane filter uses a Thin Film Composite Cellular Skin to separate and remove Dissolved Solids, Salts, Minerals, Heavy Metals, Organic Matter, Pyroxene’s, Sub-micron Colloidal matter, Cysts, Bacteria, and other contaminants from untreated water. Water containing Dissolved Minerals and other Contaminants is forced under high pressure through a Semi-Permeable, Spiral Wound, Thin Film Composite Cellular Skin layered in several wrappings, to separate and rinse away the dissolved solids to a sewage drain, leaving only the Pure, H20 water molecules for consumption, production, processing, or manufacturing. The TFC Membrane skin has a broader PH tolerance, can remove a higher maximum threshold of dissolved solids, and removes a higher percentage of dissolved solids than the CTA Membrane is capable of removing. The TFC Membrane can be used on Municipal or Well Water with proper pre-filtration. Typical Rejection of minerals and impurities for the TFC Membrane is 95%-99% removal, compared to 70%-80% for the CTA Membrane. This is the best Membrane available for Residential Reverse Osmosis Systems.s

- Inline Carbon Post-Filter for EcoWater Part # 7115296, 7150709
CF1/2MILCBEC - Substitute Inline Carbon Post-Filter for EcoWater Part # 7115296, 7150709
The CF1/2MILCBEC (1/2) .5 micron filter uses Solid Pressed Molded Carbon Block Technology to reduce or remove Cysts, Bacteria, Chlorine, Ammonia, Chloramines, Hydro-Carbon Gases, VOC’s, Fine Sediments, Silt, and Clay from untreated water. Small granules of Coconut Shell Carbon are Crushed into Powder, Pressed and Bonded together with a “PATENTED” heat molding process to form a solid BLOCK of Carbon that is encapsulated inside a plastic vessel housing. Coconut Shell Carbon has much smaller cell sites in the fractionated carbon granules than Bituminous Coal, offering faster adsorption and more retention capacity of the Chlorine, Ammonia, Chloramines, Hydro-Carbon Gases, and VOC’s from the untreated water than Bituminous Coal is capable of. The Block Density provides 2-10 times more Volume Weight of Filter Material when compared to other Inline GAC Carbon Filters, also allowing better filtration of the Fine Sediments, Silt, Clay, Cysts, and Bacteria. This filter provides the best protection against VOC’s, Hydro-Carbon Gas, Cyst and Bacteria Contaminants when used in a Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water System as either a Membrane or Storage Tank Post-filter.

- Sediment/Carbon Pre-Filter for EcoWater Part # 7190288, 7070323
The DPF1/2MIMFEC (1/2) .5 micron filter uses a Graded Density Core, Carbon Impregnated Micro-Fiber Technology to reduce or remove Dirt, Iron, Sand, Sediment, Silt, Clay, Cysts, Bacteria, Chlorine, Ammonia Chloramines, Hydro-Carbon Gases, and other fine debris from untreated water. Coconut Shell Carbon Powder is impregnated into thousands of small Micro Fibers that are thermally fused together creating a Modified Carbon Block Filter. The 1/2 micron Fiber Material Density, and Coconut Shell Carbon Powder combination provides 2-3 times more Volume Weight of Filter Material when compared to other Dual-Purpose Filters. This filter offers the best removal of Chlorine, Hydro-Carbon Gases, Sediments, Silt, Clay, Cysts, and Bacteria when used as a Pre-filter for a Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water System.
Recommended Service Interval on Most Water Supplies: 3 years

- Pre-Filter for Ecowater Part # 7208583
The DPF5MIMFEC335 5 micron filter uses Conventional Core, Carbon Impregnated Micro-Fiber Technology encapsulated inside of a Proprietary Plastic Housing to remove Chlorine, Sediment, Sand, and other larger debris from untreated water. Bituminous Coal Powder is impregnated into thousands of small Micro Fibers that are thermally fused together. This “Dual-Purpose” filter has limited success in removing Chlorine and Sediments when used as a Pre-filter for a Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water System due to the inefficient design and larger micron rating. The Proprietary design restricts the consumer to only one choice of filter cartridge selection and one distribution entity when replacing expired or exhausted filters, which typically imposes a higher retail price and compromise in quality and performance.
Recommended Service Interval on Most Water Supplies: 1 year

- Membrane Filter for Ecowater Part # 7208706
The MEM24TFCEC335 .001 micron Membrane filter uses a Thin Film Composite Cellular Skin encapsulated inside of a Proprietary Plastic Housing to separate and remove Dissolved Solids, Salts, Minerals, Heavy Metals, Organic Matter, Pyroxene’s, Sub-micron Colloidal matter, Cysts, Bacteria, and other contaminants from untreated water. The TFC Membrane can be used on Municipal or Well Water with proper pre-filtration. The Proprietary design restricts the consumer to only one choice of filter cartridge selection and one distribution entity when replacing expired or exhausted membranes, which typically imposes a higher retail price by forcing the consumer to purchase a Membrane Vessel with Check Valve and Flow Restrictor, in addition to the Membrane Filter with every Membrane replacement. Typical Rejection of minerals and impurities for the TFC Membrane is 95%-99% removal, compared to 70%-80% for the CTA Membrane.
